Hi, Everyone!

In case you missed our last 2 newsletters, and haven't heard the news, Painting with Rita will be closing effective April 10th, 2018. 

We've had to cancel many of our events over the past 9 months, due to a scarcity of registrations.  And as much as we enjoy painting with all of you, it is no longer financially feasible to keep the business up and running.

In addition to that, I developed an eye issue last month, for which I am now schedule to have surgery on (serendipitously) April 12th.

We are very grateful to all of you - especially to our frequent painters - for joining us so regularly, and inviting all your friends.  We've had such a wonderful time getting to know you, sharing with you the joyful and meditative experience that painting can be, and watching your creativity blossom.

We hope that you will all continue to explore your artistic sides, and as always . . .

Painting with Rita Gift Certificates **
These events will be the last opportunity to use your Painting with Rita Gift Certificates.  If you are unable to use your Gift Certificates, please call us with your unused Gift Certificate numbers, and we will refund the purchase price back the original credit card used to purchase them.

(** On April 11, 2018, Painting with Rita will refund any outstanding Gift Certificates back to the original credit card accounts used to purchase them.  If said accounts are closed, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the purchaser, to make other arrangements for the refund.)

What about painting?
For those of you who are ready to take your painting to the next level, Rita will continue to offer small, semi-private, painting classes.

These are not the typical "paint & sip" events like those held in restaurants.  These will be classes for those serious painters who want to learn more about painting styles and techniques.  Initially, we will concentrate on Bob Ross® style, wet-on-wet® floral oil paintings.  Eventually, we will add additional styles and techniques to the line-up.
